Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of this era. Now I wish to return to conversations with my son about more innocent baseball issues: batting averages, pennant races, the infield-fly rule, etc.
Interesting article here, though, on Roger Clemens' Hall of Fame chances. Two days ago he was a lock for his first year of eligibility -- maybe even to challenge for highest vote percentage of all time. Now look at this ESPN poll of HOF voters. Remember, you have to get 75% of the vote to get in.
